Principal Investigator: Dr Anna Beck

Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Glasgow, School of Social and Environmental Sustainability

Anna is the Principal Investigator in this project. Her research interests include policy-making, network governance and education reform. She is particularly interested in tracing the participation of local and global actors and policy elites in shaping reform and uncovering the extent to which classroom teachers are represented in this space.

Co-Investigator: Dr Denise Mifsud

Associate Professor in Educational Leadership, Management & Governance at the University of Bath

Denise has many years of practitioner experience in both teaching and top-level leadership roles. Her research explores educational leadership, especially distributed forms; educational policy analysis, generation, reception, and enactment; school networks and educational reform.

Research Assistant: Dr Frances Breslin Davda

School of Social & Environmental Sustainability, University of Glasgow.

Frances is an information poverty and education researcher. Her ESRC funded doctoral research explored early manifestations of information poverty and she has also researched play-based pedagogy in schools. She has practitioner experience working with children and young people within schools and higher education to encourage literacy.
